The Panic Room

Despite the eye grabbing, adrenaline pumping name

The purpose of this room is to reduce pain

Intruders and crooks bent on harm

Can’t enter this quiet room full of calm

Is there an application to my life?

A secret to help reduce unwanted strife

Live life from the control room, inside out

Abide in peace, terror’s rout

Jesus my hero leads the way

Accelerating anxiety’s slow decay

Sleeping through a violent storm

Is our inheritance, the new norm
