Maybe you look around you and it seems as if there are some people who seem able to walk that tight rope so well, they seem steady and confident, they are practiced at balancing, they walk in the light.
You may be in a season of intense work, exam stress or essay writting, so let’s take some time to consider what happens in our mind and body when we experience high levels of stress. Following this, let’s take some time to think about things we can do for our wellbeing to help minimise stress levels.
I sat down with a friend, Chris, he had spoken openly earlier in the year about his struggle to overcome Body Dysmorphia Disorder throughout his teens and early adulthood.
Sometimes we find ourselves ‘in the doldrums’, spiritually it’s a place that’s feels flat, calm, a bit empty and quiet. We can find ourselves missing previous times of spiritual excitement, passion and adventure, it’s a hard place to navigate. What can we do to help ourselves whilst we wait for the wind to pick up again, how do we keep our strength up so we are ready to move forwards again when the time is right?
